Dr. Corie Ascani obtained her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology in 2010, and a Master’s of Art’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2008 from Argosy University in Alameda California. Dr. Ascani completed all required clinical training hours in the greater Bay Area and has much experience and great interest in working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Dr. Ascani has a wide range of clinical experience ranging from working in geriatric to adolescent facilities. Other areas of experience includes working with children of all functioning levels, families of various economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, teenagers and their families in crisis, adults of all functioning levels, and is currently gaining experience with law enforcement officers.
Dr. Ascani has been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical-Behavioral, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic therapeutic approaches. She takes a holistic and eclectic approach in supporting her patients and focuses on collaboration in developing and modifying treatment.
