Dr. Vida Wong, Psy.D. is Psychological Assistant to Dr Jocelyn Pan. She obtained her B.A. degree in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles. She obtained her Doctor of Psychology degree from California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Dr. Wong is currently working as a registered psychological assistant to Dr. Pan and collecting post-doctoral hours towards licensure.
Dr. Wong completed her pre-doctoral training at University of San Francisco Counseling and Psychological Services. She also worked at Richmond Area Multi-Services, Inc (RAMS) in San Francisco and Asian Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) in Oakland.
Dr. Wong has extensive clinical training and experience in treating adults, adolescents, and children with a variety of emotional and behavioral issues, such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, personality disorders, trauma and abuse, grief, relationships/interpersonal difficulties, and addiction problems.
Dr. Wong is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. As an immigrant herself, she has a special interest in helping individuals and families with acculturation and adjustment difficulties. Dr. Wong is a member of the Asian American Psychological Association.
